What's Included In The Course
This practical course covers the core knowledge and skills required for safe vaccination practice. It is suitable for clinicians who are new to vaccination, require a refresher, or need evidence of injection skills training for their role.

Course Content
- Immunisation principles and governance
- Legal and professional accountability
- Consent, documentation and record keeping
- Infection prevention and control (IPC)
- Sharps safety and needlestick injury prevention
- IM and SC injection technique
- Intranasal administration
- Paediatric vaccination technique (simulated)
- Recognition and management of adverse reactions
- Anaphylaxis management (including adrenaline use)
- Adult and paediatric (child) Basic Life Support (BLS)
Hands-on injection skills, BLS and anaphylaxis management delivered in a supportive small-group setting. Ideal for clinicians new to vaccination or needing a refresher.
