These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with IVAX Clinical Training (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a course with us, you agree to these terms.

1. About IVAX Clinical Training
IVAX Clinical Training provides clinician-led training for healthcare professionals, including vaccination, injection skills, and Basic Life Support (BLS). All training is delivered by a qualified clinician and is designed to support safe clinical practice.
2. Eligibility
Our training is intended for healthcare professionals, including but not limited to:

Pharmacists
-
Pharmacy Technicians
-
Pre-registration Pharmacists
-
Registered Nurses / Nursing Associates
-
Other regulated healthcare professionals (where appropriate)
You are responsible for ensuring you are eligible to attend and that the course is suitable for your professional role and scope of practice. IVAX Clinical Training reserves the right to refuse attendance where a delegate is not considered clinically appropriate for the course.
3. Course Scope
IVAX Clinical Training provides training in vaccination and injection technique for both adults and children, including safety considerations, consent, documentation, and emergency response.
Completion of training supports delegates to develop safe technique and confidence, but does not replace:

Employer competency frameworks

Local clinical supervision requirements
-
Organisational sign-off
-
PGD/PSD authorisation processes
4. Course Content
Course content may include (depending on the course booked):

Immunisation principles and governance
-
Legal and professional accountability
-
Consent and documentation
-
Infection prevention and sharps safety
-
Intramuscular (IM) injection technique
-
Subcutaneous (SC) injection technique
-
Landmarking and site selection
-
Safe needle length and equipment selection
-
Paediatric (child) vaccination technique considerations (including injection site selection, needle length considerations, positioning, consent and communication)
-
Recognition and management of adverse reactions
-
Anaphylaxis recognition and emergency management (including adrenaline administration)
-
Adult Basic Life Support (BLS)
-
Paediatric Basic Life Support (BLS)
-
Knowledge quiz / assessment
-
Practical skills assessment
Course content may be updated to reflect current clinical guidance and best practice.
5. Pre-Learning Requirement (Mandatory)
All delegates must complete the pre-learning materials provided before attending the face-to-face session. Delegates may be asked to confirm completion of pre-learning on the day of training.
6. Assessment
Courses include assessment appropriate to the session, which may include:

Practical assessment of IM injection technique
-
Practical assessment of SC injection technique
-
Knowledge quiz at the end of the session
Delegates must participate in assessment in order to be issued a certificate.
7. Certificates
Certificates are issued after:
-
Full attendance of the session
-
Completion of required assessments
Certificates confirm attendance and assessment completion on the day of training. They do not automatically confirm competence in the workplace setting.
8. Professional Responsibility (PGD/PSD)
Delegates remain professionally responsible for working within their scope of practice and local workplace policies.
Authority to administer vaccines in clinical practice must be provided by the delegate’s employing or host organisation under an appropriate Patient Group Direction (PGD) or Patient Specific Direction (PSD).
IVAX Clinical Training is not responsible for the delegate’s scope of practice, authorisation arrangements, or workplace sign-off processes.
9. Venues
Courses may be delivered in external venues or hired training rooms.
Venue details will be provided in your booking confirmation email. Delegates are responsible for arriving on time and following any venue instructions provided.
10. Group Bookings
Group bookings are welcome. A group discount may apply and will be confirmed at the time of booking. Discounts are applied per person and cannot be combined with other promotions unless stated.
11. Payment
Payment must be received in full in order to secure your booking. If booking via invoice, payment must be made within the timeframe stated on the invoice.
Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received.
12. Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers
All payments are non-refundable.
However, bookings may be transferred to:

An alternative IVAX training date (subject to availability), or
-
Another eligible healthcare professional (delegate substitution)
Transfer requests must be made at least 3 days (72 hours) prior to the course date. Transfer requests made within 3 days of the course date will not be possible due to venue costs and limited availability.
13. Non-Attendance
If you do not attend your session (including arriving too late to complete the course), you will not be eligible for a refund. A transfer may be offered at our discretion, depending on circumstances and availability.
14. Late Arrivals
Delegates are expected to arrive on time. If you arrive late, you may miss important safety and assessment elements. IVAX Clinical Training reserves the right to refuse entry if it affects the safe delivery of the training.
15. Delegate Conduct
We expect all delegates to behave professionally and respectfully. IVAX Clinical Training reserves the right to remove any delegate whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate. In these cases, no refund will be issued.
16. Liability
IVAX Clinical Training holds appropriate insurance for training delivery.
However, we are not responsible for:

Delegates’ actions in clinical practice following the course

Workplace competency processes
-
Loss or damage to personal belongings at the venue
17. Changes to Courses
IVAX Clinical Training reserves the right to:
-
Update course content where clinically appropriate
-
Change venue location (within reasonable distance)
-
Reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness, venue cancellation)
If IVAX Clinical Training cancels a course, delegates will be offered either:
-
A full refund, or
-
A transfer to a future date
