These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with IVAX Clinical Training (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a course with us, you agree to the following terms.
1. About IVAX Clinical Training
IVAX Clinical Training provides clinician-led training for healthcare professionals, including vaccination and injection skills and Basic Life Support (BLS).
All training is delivered by a qualified clinician and is designed to support safe clinical practice.
2. Eligibility
Our training is intended for healthcare professionals, including but not limited to:

Pharmacists
-
Pharmacy Technicians
-
Pre-registration Pharmacists
-
Registered Nurses / Nursing Associates
-
Other regulated healthcare professionals (where appropriate)
It is your responsibility to ensure that the course is suitable for your role and scope of practice. We reserve the right to refuse attendance where a delegate is not considered appropriate for the course.
3. Course Scope
Training covers vaccination and injection techniques for adults and children, including safety, consent, documentation, and emergency response.
Completion of training supports the development of knowledge and practical skills but does not replace:

Employer competency frameworks

Local clinical supervision requirements
-
Organisational sign-off
-
PGD/PSD or National Protocol authorisation processes
Completion of training does not provide legal authority to administer vaccines.
4. Course Content
Course content may include (depending on the session booked):

Immunisation principles and governance
-
Legal and professional accountability
-
Consent and documentation
-
Infection prevention and sharps safety
-
Intramuscular (IM) injection technique
-
Subcutaneous (SC) injection technique
-
Landmarking and site selection
-
Paediatric vaccination considerations
-
Recognition and management of adverse reactions
-
Anaphylaxis recognition and management
-
Adult and paediatric Basic Life Support (BLS)
-
Knowledge and practical assessment
Course content may be updated to reflect current clinical guidance and best practice.
5. Pre-Learning (Mandatory)
Delegates must complete any pre-learning materials provided prior to attending the session. You may be asked to confirm completion on the day of training.
6. Assessment
Courses include assessment appropriate to the session, which may include:

Practical assessment of IM and SC injection technique
-
Knowledge-based assessment
Delegates must participate in assessment in order to receive a certificate.
7. Certificates
Certificates are issued upon:
-
Full attendance of the session
-
Successful completion of required assessments
Certificates confirm completion of training and assessment on the day. They do not automatically confirm competency in the workplace setting. Ongoing competency must be supported by your employer in line with local governance.
8. Professional Responsibility (PGD/PSD/National Protocol)
Delegates remain professionally responsible for working within their scope of practice and local workplace policies.
Authority to administer vaccines in clinical practice must be provided by the employing or host organisation under an appropriate:

Patient Group Direction (PGD)
-
Patient Specific Direction (PSD)
-
National Protocol (where applicable)
IVAX Clinical Training is not responsible for workplace authorisation, competency sign-off, or scope of practice decisions.
9. Venues
Training may be delivered at external venues or client premises.
Venue details will be provided in your booking confirmation. Delegates are responsible for arriving on time and following any venue-specific instructions.
10. Group Bookings
Group bookings are available for organisations and independent pharmacies.
Group rates and arrangements will be agreed at the time of booking. We reserve the right to adjust delivery format depending on group size to ensure safe and effective training.
11. Payment
Payment must be received in full to secure your booking.
Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received. Where invoices are issued, payment must be made within the timeframe stated.
12. Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers
All payments are non-refundable.
However, bookings may be transferred to:

An alternative IVAX training date (subject to availability), or
-
Another eligible healthcare professional (delegate substitution)
Transfer requests must be made at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to the course date.
Requests made within 72 hours may not be accommodated due to venue costs and limited availability.
13. Non-Attendance
If you do not attend your session, or arrive too late to complete the training, you will not be eligible for a refund.
A transfer may be offered at our discretion, depending on circumstances and availability.
14. Late Arrivals
Delegates are expected to arrive on time.
If you arrive late, you may miss essential safety or assessment components. We reserve the right to refuse entry if this impacts the safe delivery of the session.
15. Delegate Conduct
Delegates are expected to behave professionally and respectfully.
We reserve the right to remove any delegate whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
16. Liability
IVAX Clinical Training holds appropriate insurance for training delivery.
We are not responsible for:

Delegates’ actions in clinical practice following the course
-
Workplace competency processes
-
Loss or damage to personal belongings
17. Changes to Courses
We reserve the right to:
-
Update course content where clinically appropriate
-
Change venue location (within reasonable distance)
-
Reschedule courses due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness or venue cancellation)
If we cancel a course, delegates will be offered either:
-
A full refund, or
-
A transfer to a future date
