Vaccination Training

Practical, clinician-led vaccination training for healthcare professionals, covering vaccination administration, emergency management and essential clinical skills. Training is suitable for professionals administering vaccinations to adults and children aged 2 years and over, within their appropriate professional role and governance arrangements.

 

Training is aligned with the UK National Minimum Standards for Immunisation Training.

Pre-Course Learning

Pre-course learning materials will be sent by email following confirmation of your booking.

The pre-course material covers key vaccination principles and relevant professional responsibilities, allowing the practical session to focus on skills development, discussion and competency assessment.

 

Certification

​

Following successful completion of the training and competency assessment, delegates will receive an IVAX Clinical Training Certificate of Competence.

​

Successful completion of this course does not, by itself, authorise independent vaccination practice. Delegates must have the appropriate legal authority and employer-approved governance arrangements in place before administering vaccines within their clinical role.

 

Location

​

Training is delivered at selected venues across London and surrounding areas.

The specific venue will be displayed when booking. Please check the venue details before completing your booking, as locations may vary.

In exceptional circumstances, IVAX Clinical Training may need to change the training venue. Where possible, delegates will be notified in advance and an alternative venue will be provided within a reasonable distance of the original location.

 

Duration

 

The vaccination training session lasts approximately 3 hours. The exact duration may vary slightly depending on delegate numbers, previous experience and individual learning needs.
