Who is this course suitable for? This course is designed for healthcare professionals, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, registered nurses, nursing associates, and other clinical staff who require vaccination and injection training.

Do I need to complete pre-learning before attending? Yes, pre-learning must be completed before attending the face-to-face session. This helps ensure the practical training runs smoothly and safely for all participants.

What does the course cover? The course includes intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous (SC) injection techniques, intranasal administration, infection prevention and sharps safety, consent and documentation, recognition of adverse reactions, anaphylaxis management, and adult and paediatric basic life support (BLS).

Is there an assessment? Yes, you will complete a practical assessment on IM and SC injection technique, along with a short knowledge check at the end of the session.

Will I receive a certificate? Yes, certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course and assessment.

This course provides practical skills for vaccination This course provides the practical skills required for vaccination. You must have appropriate legal authorisation in place (such as a PGD or PSD) through your employer before administering vaccines.

Where is the course held? Courses are delivered face-to-face at various locations. Full venue details and joining instructions are provided on the booking page for each course date.

What should I bring? Please bring a form of photo ID, along with a notebook and pen if you wish to take notes.

Can I transfer my booking? Bookings are non-refundable; however, they may be transferred to another date or eligible healthcare professional. Transfer requests must be made at least 3 days before the course date.

Do you offer group bookings? Yes, group bookings are available and can be arranged directly. Please contact us to discuss availability and pricing.

Do you offer any discounts? Yes, we offer student discounts for pre-registered pharmacists. Please contact us to request this when booking. Discounts may also be available for group bookings.

How do I book? Bookings can be made online via our booking page. For group bookings or direct enquiries, please contact us.

What should I know before and after the course? Before attending, please complete the required pre-learning and review your confirmation details on the booking page. After the course, you will receive a certificate; however, legal authorisation to vaccinate must be arranged through your employer.
